El Día D es la historia épica de hombres en el momento más exigente de sus vidas, cuando los horrores, las complejidades y los triunfos de la vida quedan al descubierto. El distinguido historiador Stephen E. Ambrose retrata los rostros de coraje y heroísmo, miedo y determinación, lo que Eisenhower llamó "la furia de una democracia despierta", que dieron forma a la victoria de los ciudadanos soldados a quienes Hitler había menospreciado.
